Story
My grandad unfortunately passed away with cancer and during his treatment this amazing centre helped him alot. They‘re kind towards patients and family memebers and outstanding at there work. My grandad was sweet hearted and the best I could have wished for and he definately didn’t deserve what happened to him. I miss him more and more everyday and I will never ever forget him. Therefore, to remember him I came up with a lovely idea to remember him a ‘sponsered walk’. The walk me and my family are doing is from my grandads door to Addenbrookes Oncology Day Unit. The walk itself is 17.6 miles and we will be starting it at 7:00am in the morning. As a family we decided to do it on his birthday and thought this would be a good way of celebrating. There are many of us doing it and we would highly appreciate the support we could get from you lot. It is for a good cause and many people can be helped by this money. You don‘t have to sponser a lot but every penny helps please donate and keep sharing this so we can get as much money as possible for cancer patients and the unit itself❤️
