Story
I am cycling 100 miles in the Nottingham Cycle Live event on 23rd June to raise money for little Ben Crowther . Ben was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma which is a rare form of childhood cancer. Ben has been receiving treatment from the NHS but sadly it has not had the desired effect. Other treatments are available where some children with the same disease are doing comparatively well but these are not available on the NHS and therefore need to be self-funded.
Ben was first diagnosed when he was 6 years old and throughout his treatment has been wonderfully brave. I want to do all I can to help raise the money for his treatment. It is for this reason that I chose to cycle 100 miles, which will be the furthest that I have ever cycled in one day. Any donation that you can give, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.
