Story
Hi there!
Thank you for clicking on my page and showing an interest in what I am hoping to do. Please read on to find out about my 6 month trip to Australia...
I am taking part in a Discipleship Training School (DTS), run by the Christian movement YWAM. This specific Music and Worship DTS is based in Toowoomba, Queensland Australia.
The Music & Worship DTS is a 5 month program created to strengthen our relationship with God while finding purpose in the field of music & worship ministry.
Lecture phase provides teaching on the Bible and various topics for 3 months, including the father heart of God, intercession, relationships, calling, identity & purpose and missions.
Part of the DTS involves an 8 week Outreach Phase.
During Outreach, I may be involved in various activities, including ministering with music, doing community practical work projects, serving youth ministries, teaching English, ministering to and caring for women and children at risk.
My Outreach Team will be sent to one of a number of places that the Toowoomba base has connections with - Hong Kong, Malaysia, East Timor, Thailand, Fiji or Cambodia.
They are doing amazing things and I cannot wait to be a small part of what is happening.
However, DTS requires school fees for the programme, which is why this page has been set up! I would absolutely love it if you would be willing to donate to help send me on DTS.
I am currently working 2 days a week at our church as well as waitressing to try and raise as much money as I can, but I need your help to see this adventure happen.
I really appreciate any donation that you feel able to make, as everything great and small adds together to help me reach my target!
Thank you so much,
Charlotte x

Have a wonderful trip! Just before I went off with YWAM someone prayed, 'Lord, wrap a cloak around Polly so people see you not her.' A great prayer! Point others to God (and laugh a lot!)
