I've raised £2000 to Teach children to swim in South Africa

Organised by Charlotte Young
It is thought that only 10-14% of the South African population have been given any kind of water safety education and along with no National drowning prevention scheme and unacceptable amount of people drown each year. Research has also shown that drowning is one of the 'Leading causes of death amongst Children. In July 2018 I will be travelling to Port Elizabeth, South Africa with Camp South Africa alongside the United Through Sport charity to teach children how to swim and some basic water safety advice. In order to do this I need to raise £2,000 for my transport, accommodation and equipment.
