Story
As many of our friends and colleagues are aware, my amazing manager and Tarina's colleague, recently suffered the devastating loss of her beautiful nine month old niece, Charlotte.
Charlotte was taken to intensive care five weeks ago following sudden left sided twitching which was diagnosed as a rare type of epileptic seizure. Sadly this continued and Charlotte was later diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder. Charlotte was a healthy and happy little girl and the world of her parents Emma and Colin, and prior to this tragic diagnosis had no health concerns. She was given a prognosis of one-two weeks where she was cared for at home by her amazing parents. Charlotte passed away peacefully in her mothers arms on the 28th June 2018.
Charlotte's funeral will be held today (06/07) in Scotland at 16:00pm. Although myself, Tarina and our colleagues did not know Charlotte, she became a constant part of our daily lives and at nine months old inspired us, as did her parents, with their incredible strength and courage. Charlotte touched the hearts of everyone who knows the family .
Although there is no way to ease the pain and hell this family are going Tarina and I would like to show our support for Charlotte's parents and their family by raising money for them to use as they need and wish to. No parent should ever have to experience the horrific loss of their child and we invite all of our friends, family and colleagues to donate whatever they can in the memory of the gorgeous little girl who touched the hearts of so many people.
Rest in peace Charlotte xxx
