I've raised £2010 to volunteer in India for 4 weeks as part of a fellowship with Limited Resource Teacher Training (LRTT) to train teachers.

Update 07/06/19: THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE DONATED! I HAVE RAISED MY CONTRIBUTION FOR THE CHARITY AND ANY FURTHER DONATIONS WILL GO TOWARDS OTHER TRIP COSTS, SUCH AS MY FLIGHT, VISA, SCHOOL RESOURCES AND TRAVEL VACCINES.
Hello! ☺️
This Summer, I will be going to India for 4 weeks to take part in a fellowship with Limited Resource Teacher Training (LRTT) to lead training for teachers who otherwise receive little or no professional development.
This is something I am very passionate about as I believe every child deserves an education, however, this trip comes with many costs therefore I am reaching our for your support.
Context in India
India has 440 million children. Whilst enrolment into primary schools is high, 65% of students leave school without basic literacy and numeracy skills and 1 in 4 children of school going age drop out of school. The need for a systematic approach to the issue of poor quality education in under-resourced schools is becoming increasingly important in India.
I feel this is a brilliant way to give back to the teaching profession and make a difference to the outcomes of students and teachers in less favourable circumstances than we have here in the UK. Your support and donations will help to fund the cost of the fellowship accommodation, transport and resources that I can take to share with the teachers on the programme. This is an unpaid programme so every little really will help! To take part in the programme I must donate. I would really appreciate your support!
Please donate whatever you can to support!
