My daughter, Charlotte, is six years old and absolutely loves going to Lingfield Rainbows. It’s become a really special part of her week. She’s made new friends, grown in confidence and always comes home excited to tell us what she’s been doing.

Like so many local community groups, none of this would be possible without the amazing volunteers who give up their own time every week. They ask for very little in return but give so much to the children they support. We wanted to find a small way to say thank you.

So together we’re taking on Ride for Rainbows.

Over the summer holidays, Charlotte will cycle 100 miles with the aim of raising £500 for Lingfield Rainbows. It isn’t about how fast we ride or setting any records. It’s simply about spending quality time together, getting outdoors and showing Charlotte that even a small challenge can make a positive difference to others.

All of the money raised will be transferred directly to Lingfield Rainbows, and I’ll share confirmation of the final donation so everyone can see that every penny reached the local unit.
