Story

On 3rd September 2017, I will be tackling the Manchester 100 - a 100km (60 odd mile) bike ride...and then on 29th October 2017 I will be completing the Dublin Marathon.

I'm raising money for a very special young man, who has been battling brain tumours for most of his young life

Tyler's Fight Club -  https://www.tylersfightclub.com

The first rule of Tyler's Fight, Club is.....Talk about Tyler's Fight, Club.

The second rule of Tyler's Fight, Club is.....Talk about Tyler's Fight, Club.

The third rule of Tyler's Fight, Club is....every penny that is donated and not used for Tyler's cause will be split and donated between:

The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumor Charity

and

Max in a Million Charity

Some of you know Tyler's story, but for those of you who don't, here it is.

In January, after 12 years of battling with Grade 1 & 2 brain tumours, Tyler was rushed into hospital and underwent an emergency biopsy, which diagnosed him with Grade 4 tumours located in his brain stem.

He underwent an intense five week course of daily Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and steroids to shrink the tumours and hopefully stabilize.

The problem is that without surgery there is a very high possibility that they will grow again and treatment for these types of tumours is difficult.

The NHS have ruled out surgery, as they say it is risk to his quality of life, but instead of throwing in the towel we have been in talks with doctors in America, and are trying to take his fight abroad where technique and treatment can be more advanced.

Failing this, any money raised will be used to ensure that Tyler has some fantastic adventures and ticks many things off his 'bucket list'!

I know there are millions of charities out there and that people are donating all over the place....

...But all I ask is for you to sacrifice the price of one glass of wine, beer or other drink you'd buy...and donate to this very worthy young man.

He's been through so much and any donations will bring him so much happiness...right now...when it matters most.

Thank You.

xx
