I've raised £2000 to Help fund palliative care for cancer patients where a team of doctors, nurses and counsellors make home visits to ease a patient's life.

My dad has been suffering from lung cancer for over three years and for the last few months has been receiving palliative care at home.
I am running the New York marathon 26.2 miles on 3rd of November, with the aim of raising money for the wonderful, selfless and giving team of doctors and nurses at Palcare in India. They have been providing at-home care, support and counselling for my dad and the rest of the family, helping in symptom management, pain relief and general guidance during this difficult period in our lives.
After going through Chemotherapy, radiation and enormous amounts of medicine and steroids my dad's cancer cannot be treated anymore. Palliative care at home means his last days are kept a little comfortable by these amazing doctors and nurses.
Palcare is a charitable foundation, totally reliant on donations to provide their services. Anything that you can donate will help Palcare to provide extra-ordinary palliative care service to other patients like my dad who are suffering from life limiting and debilitating conditions. India needs help in developing palliative care so they can help many more. Cancer is spreading and we need your help.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
