I've raised £5000 to support St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, MIND and Lindum Cricket Club.

With the current situation with Covid-19, Lindum Cricket Club are without income for the foreseeable future.
The club usually organise a floodlit cricket tournament in August to raise money for local charities, an event the club has sadly lost due to the ongoing pandemic.
As a result, team mates Carl Stubbs and Will Taylor have set up a challenge for club members to cover 2020km in 24 hours, on Sunday 16th August by walking, running or cycling in an attempt to raise vital funds for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, MIND and Lindum Cricket Club.
To galvanise the club effort, Will and Carl shall attempt to #ChaseTheSun, cycling from Lindum Cricket Club, calling at all Lincolnshire Premier League grounds before returning to the Lindum. The pair set off at sunrise and aim to complete the mammoth 322km effort before sunset.
Lindum - Scunthorpe - Louth - Woodhall Spa - Boston - Market Deeping - Bourne - Grantham - Sleaford - Bracebridge Heath - Lindum
This will be 644km of the 2020km covered, with other club members, players, coaches, partners and supporters coming together to complete the remaining 1376km.
The rules are quite simple…
• Download the Strava app here: https://www.strava.com/mobile
• Join the Lindum Cricket Club club on Strava here: https://www.strava.com/clubs/692955
• Attend the Chase the Sun event on Strava here: https://www.strava.com/clubs/692955/group_events/736888
• Walk, run or cycle as much as you possibly can on Sunday 16th August.
• Take your friends and family and get them to join in too!
Whether you raise pennies or pounds in their ones, tens or hundreds, you can make a huge difference. Let's do this!
