Weʼve raised £2,820 to Help Chatteris Christmas Lights Volunteer Committee With Putting On One Of The Best Christmas Light Displays In Cambridgeshire!!

Funded on Saturday, 1st May 2021

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Due to the Goverment restrictions that have been put in place around Covid-19 the annual switch on of Chatteris Christmas Lights had to be cancelled. This years switch on would have maked 35 years since they were officially established.

Donations collected during the switch on event along with the draw tickets amounts to a large amount of the funds needed to put the lights on each year and with no switch on other ways to raise these funds is needed.

The Chatteris Christmas Lights Commitee is made up solely of volunteers who give up their time to put up, maintain and take down the lights each year.

The committee prides itself on the addition of new items to the display each year and its rolling program of upgrading the lights to LED technology, unfortunately the costs involved in this are growing every year.
