Checkendon CC is a high-spirited, all inclusive and family-oriented sleeping giant of Berkshire.

We field a midweek T20, Sunday and Berkshire Premier Division Saturday side, while offering coaching advice and the opportunity to play to those of all age and ability. However, it is time for Checkendon to develop further.

The facilities at Checkendon reflect its age (est c.1880). Although there is profuse capacity for training, with only a single make-shift net, we cannot offer a weekly training session.

This is why we have taken the necessary steps to raise funding for a roll-on / mobile net to be used on a prepared wicket, once a week. This would greatly improve the standard of Checkendon cricket at all levels and perhaps entice prospecting players to come and join in.
