Story
On the 17th June, I ran the race for life on behalf of my beautiful auntie who was fighting cancer. Sadly, she passed less than 2 weeks later on Saturday 30th June. Thankfully I had the opportunity to see my auntie just after the race for life and Had the chance to give her the medal given from that race. I will never forget get the look on her face of sheer pride and gratitude that I done this for her. My Auntie Deanna was always proud of my fitness and weight loss achievements and of me in general. To continue to make her proud, I am running my biggest ever distance. In less than 4 weeks I will be running a half marathon in memory and in celebration of my Auntie Deanna who anyone who knew her would agree that she made this world a brighter and better place. Any money raised will go as a token of gratitude and appreciation for the staff at Roxburghe House and Maggie Centre Dundee for all they do. Any donation, no matter how small would be greatly appreciated x
