Story

Julie and Phil are going to Cameroon in November 2017 to work with a charity called Aidcamps International to renovate a clinic in a rural village. In 2015 Julie went our to deliver nurse education to nurses working in rural Cameroon and visited a number of the clinics they were working in. What was striking was how the nurses provided care to people in very difficult circumstances,no running water, limited access to medical equipment and medicines.
We now have a chance to change some of this. The group of volunteers will be involved in providing showers and toilets working in partnership with the local village and craftsmen.
The clinic is in serious need of refurbishment and provides care to 6000 people per year. Donations will go towards the refurbishment and providing vital basic equipment for the clinic so that people can have access to basic healthcare.
