Chelsea Pride, the official LGBTQ+ Community group affiliated with Chelsea FC, is proud to be partnering with West London Queer Project (WLQP) to do what our community does best, show up, stand together, and create change.
Because West London isn’t just where we are. It’s who we are. The greatest part of London. 💙
⚽ Support West London Queer Project Football sessions ⚽️
Football should belong to everyone.
At West London Queer Project, football sessions provide a safe, welcoming space where people can play, move, and belong, without judgement, fear, or exclusion. Sessions are open to all ages, gender identities, sexualities, abilities, and backgrounds. Whether you’ve played your whole life or never kicked a ball before, you have a place on this pitch.
This isn’t just about football. It’s about community.
For some, this is the first time they’ve ever felt safe enough to take part in sport. For others, it’s a vital weekly lifeline for wellbeing, confidence, and connection.
📍 Where it’s happening
We currently run sessions in Chiswick (London Borough of Hounslow), with pitch access generously supported by Brentford Football Club, helping keep football accessible for our community.
As demand across West London has grown, we’ve expanded into White City (London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham).
💙 Why your support matters Our White City sessions currently have no external funding. That means community support is what keeps them alive.
Across the UK, many organisations are stepping away from LGBTQ+ initiatives, which makes grassroots spaces like WLQP more important than ever.
Your donations will help us:
✅ Hire pitches in White City
✅ Provide equipment and bibs
✅ Pay qualified coaches to run safe sessions
✅ Keep sessions free to attend
✅ Welcome new players into sport
As we grow, we also want to create pathways into football, supporting members to become coaches and referees, building leadership, confidence, and opportunities within our own community.
🏳️🌈Help us keep football open to everyone🏳️⚧️
When you donate, you’re not just funding football. You’re creating belonging. Friendship. Wellbeing. Opportunity.
Because if football is for everyone, everyone deserves somewhere to play.
Thank you for being part of our team. 💜⚽
