I'm raising money to keep the Cheltenham 20s & 30s Meetup group running.

We are a volunteer lead social group which has no membership fees. Our organisers give up time and money voluntarily to host events and ensure that local young people have opportunities to socialise and make friends, at a time when such opportunities can be hard to come by for many people.

We as a group are very fortunate to have a dedicated team of hosts and a committed membership who contribute to valuable social activities with us every week. But we can no longer do this without your support.

Our group is based on the Meetup app, this comes with costs and up until recently these have been generously covered by the volunteer owners of the group. But these costs have risen significantly in recent months (currently around £300 per year) and the owners can no longer afford to pay them out of their own finances. We are now relying entirely on donations to fund the group.

This model has already proven successful. Thanks to your generosity, our previous Crowdfunder raised more than enough money to cover the costs for 2025. We are now appealing for your support again, to help us keep the group going through 2026 and beyond. Your donation will play a big part in keeping the group alive without having to charge fees to our members.
