Story

Chernobyl Childen’s LifeLine Teignbridge & Torbay, is a local charity bringing young children over to the UK from the worst effected areas hit by the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 where the radiation still effects those living there today. The children get a one off opportunity to come here for a months recuperation to help boost their immune systems and give them a health kick from all the uncontaminated air and food that helps prolong their life.

As a charity we depend on donations of money, fundraising and volunteers to keep the charity running.

It costs on average £5000 each year just to bring a group of ten children over and that is without the expenses of feeding the children and entertaining them whilst they are here!

If you would like to donate money, days out at local

attractions, food, help with fundraising or you are thinking of hosting please get in touch.
