Story

After my accident in February 2016, I am incredibly lucky to be alive after my body temperature was 26 degrees where I was later told that people don‘t survive below 28 degrees, and also having no serious lasting damage from the frostbite I had due to lying outside in freezing temperatures. I still believe that my drink was spiked and this was the cause of the accident.

I was transferred to ARI by air ambulance, when my temperature was stabilised in the Balfour, which is why I have chosen one of the charities as they do a great job across Scotland and are an essential part of island life. And I have chosen the Orkney Drugs Dog as they are a new charity who will receive their first drug detection dog and dog handler in November, and as well as doing detection's will also be providing an educational service on the damaging effects of drugs to schools and youth groups and hopefully working as a deterrent in the islands.

I have already received some donations from my birthday party instead of receiving presents - thank you to everyone who donated. But for those who still wish to donate, its not too late by using this page. Thank you for reading and making a donation, large or small, to these 2 amazing charities. 💕
