Story

Hello, I was born with health problems that have got increasingly worse throughout my life. I am 38 years old. I have joint hypermobility syndrome, degenerative disc disease, severe osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. I also have aspergers syndrome and p.t.s.d.

I am always in a lot of pain which affects every area of my life. My conditions have got worse in recent years and I need to make adaptations to my home so that I can be more comfortable. I live in a house and am really struggling with the stairs. I have a second hand electric wheelchair but it has a problem- its supposed to go for 12 miles but only goes for half a mile before running out of power. I cannot lift a kettle so I would like to buy a one cup boiler. I spend a lot of time in bed but my mattress is old and does not help with pain levels. In an ideal world, it would be great to have a new one, plus a large handle for my bed so i could pull myself up in the mornings.

I am a single parent and I cannot afford these things at the moment or for the forseeable future. At the moment, I feel a bit stuck in a cycle of pain/worrying how to cope/more pain so I really would appreciate any donation at all but if thats not possible today, then I genuinely thank you for reading this.
