Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.
Mrs Elaine Pinczewski o"h was a key member of the Manchester community, someone who touched so many lives.
Elaine typified Chessed and dedicated her life specifically to Chessed Shel Emes. She worked tirelessly for both the Manchester Chevra Kadisha and led the Misaskim ladies team. She was on call around the clock and often went out to comfort bereaved families in the early hours of the morning. Additionally she kept up the relationship on a daily basis until she was sure they no longer required her support, be that a week, month or a year later.
Elaine o"h raised the bar in terms of Kovod HaMeis in Manchester and beyond and this will always remain her legacy.
Unfortunately Elaine o"h battled a liver condition which ultimately required the transplant operation she didn't survive. She worked solely for the Kehilla and left this world with some debts relating to projects she was working on which need to be cleared. As her passing was so sudden, she wasn't able to complete these project herself and therefore we are raising money to clear these debts so that her Neshoma can come to a complete rest.
Ideally we would like to have this amount raised before the end of the Shiva and would encourage all to donate accordingly.
Cheques or vouchers can be made out to Misaskim Manchester and sent to Rabbi YA Sofer, 1 Broughton Green Square, Salford M7 2GH.
