Our black Labrador, Chester Pearce, is 6 years old this year, having joined our family in October 2011.

Chester has been a constant and loyal companion to all members off our extended family, a positive influence on all our lives and gives love and joy to all those who are lucky enough to meet him. Anyone that has met him will know that he lives for his tennis balls!

When Chester was younger we noticed that he had a 'funny' walk, which involved him wiggling his bum. Unfortunately this was due to major hip displacement, a relatively common problem in Labradors, however this was on an unparalleled scale.

Chester requires this life changing surgery now as the displacement has worsened and it will be a matter of time before the pain is too much and he starts to lose strength in his back legs.

Chester is a caring and loving soul who's only crime is that he loves to play with his ball too much. We'd love for you to help him relive that dream.
