Following the recent decision from the government to refuse support for struggling families to help feed their children during school holidays, businesses across Chesterfield are offering free lunches and snacks to children in need. Given the current climate and ongoing pandemic, hospitality is suffering and are yet, still the hero's stepping forward to help our communities. Chesterfield Children's Lunch Squad are crowd funding to offer financial support to these businesses to help cover the cost of their goodwill. Any additional funding will be forwarded to Chesterfield Community Food Hut and other local food charities (To be confirmed at a later date) to help support them in their ongoing venture to support families across Chesterfield.
