I've raised £2500 to help aid and improve the quality of education and school environment of the poor Sri Lankan children.

In June 2017, I was given the opportunity to venture on a life time chance to Sri Lanka to live a life of a Sri Lankan. I was so excited and thrilled that I forgot to ask how much it will cost. When I was eventually informed that the price was £2500 for two weeks, I thought it was the end because thinking about it , it is a lot of money. But I was told by my mum "don't let your limitations limit your opportunities and that of others". With this I decided to take this chance.
But I need your help to make this happen!
Being one of the 12 selected out of 100 to travel to Sri Lanka for missionary work, I am fund raising £2500 to make a huge difference in the lives of these people. On this trip we will help improve our selected primary school, install water tanks for the villagers, construct houses for locals and take part in reforestation. Making our selected primary school a better environment will include upgrading the playground, repairing the school buildings, providing books, stationary and a couple of computers, building a library, buying them school uniforms and installing clean accessible water.
Looking at all this seems like a lot to complete in 14 days but we can get it done working as a team. As a Sacred Heart girl, it is one of our ethos to try and make a difference in our world no matter how small we are in society. With this we can pave ways for future generations to do the same, thus making the world a better place. Going on this trip will teach us and develop us to be more aware of life outside the Western world. This is an amazing privilege to positively impact lives in a country i haven't been before, BUT WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
I know things are difficult and money is hard to comeby but all donations are welcome no matter how small they are. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your time and care and may God bless you as you donate! :) :)
