Story
I have this wonderful daughter Lachelle who has her own challenges (autism) and her big sister Kimberly who is her greatest teacher, advocate and friend.Lachelle loves the sun and holidays but there is a limit to what i can provide as there are bills to be paid and lots of therapies to dole out the rest of the cash for.Born in winter but happiest in summer,I would love to take Lachelle to somewhere warm this Christmas to celebrate her 9th birthday and this would provide a much needed respite for her elder sister and 1.Just so the sister can also look back and say that something good can come out of being autistic. That way....everyone is a winner.Having a child with a disability is challenging especially for the young people as nobody is exempt from the care and stress element.Lachelle is happiest on holidays and this reduces the stress for Kimberly as a happier Lachelle is a happier family all round.Less tantrums and less meltdowns means that Kimberly gets to enjoy her sister more and stores up good and happy memories for the tough times that are almost always ever present😔.Thanks in anticipation.
