Weʼve raised £680 to give a well deserved farewell meal & night out to the amazing staff who have cared so well for our children during their time at Childwatch

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

Last week, the staff, children and parents of the Childwatch nursery, Aspire2Access, situated at the John Pollock Centre in Ayr learnt of the heartbreaking news of its closure. Not only does this affect us as parents, loosing such an amazing flexible facility, and needing to find alternative childcare, or the wonderful children loosing their amazing nursery, but it also affects nearly 60 members of staff who work within the nursery, who now face loosing their jobs that they all loved and adored, and did so well, and the difficult task of finding new employement.

This has been heartbreaking news for everyone involved and I cannot begin to imagine what the staff are going through. Whilst everyone has been trying their upmost to find funding, speak to the Government, MP’s and the Council, and doing anything they possibly can to help keep the nursery open, so far, all attempts have been unsuccessful, and so with the closure of the nursery looming in the very near future, I wanted to ask for your help in giving back to the wonderful staff who have cared for our children so amazingly, teaching them, guiding them and loving them, helping us raise them, and watching them grow in to the wonderful beings they are today.

I would like to ask for your help in giving back to them. They deserve it so much. I would us like to raise money for them so each and every single on of them can all enjoy a nice night out together- enjoying a lovely meal and some drinks, and hopefully some leaving presents for them all. Even just a couple of pounds between us will soon add up and make a difference.

Whether a current or previous parent, grandparent, auntie or uncle of the children or staff of Childwatch, please help give them what they deserve.

    Thank you!

Anyone employing the staff from childwatch are lucky to have them. Everyone over the years has been so lovely and great with the kids. It's a dreadful loss of service. Good luck to you all.x

So sad to hear of Childwatch closure. Murray and Ross have been there for the last 7 years. Without the support of the staff I couldn't have continued to work. My boys loved it.
