¡Hola!

My name is Karyn, I'm 21 years old and I have a passion for Latin America.

In January 2018 I will be returning to Chile for 8 months to volunteer alongside local churches, get involved with youth work, teach english classes and most importantly, share the Love of Jesus with lost communities.

I will be going with an organisation called Latin Link, a Christian Mission agency who have a heart for taking the Gospel to local communities throughout Latin America.

Last year I spent 2 months with a Latin Link team in Chile and Costa Rica. Whilst there I became involved with leading a children's holiday club, helping out with various maintenance projects and building life long relationships with people I met along the way. It was one of the most humbling journey's I have ever been on and I am so looking forward to once again stepping out in faith and trusting that God will use me to impact the lives of others in Chile.

From the food to the culture, to the wonderful hospitality shown by the locals, over time I have developed a love for Latin America and believe that God has called me to serve Him there.

I have a particular desire to work with children and young people in impoverished communities through the use of drama and english classes. Therefore, I aim to take out various schooling materials, english language guides, stationary etc. and other tools to aid this project.

However, I cannot do it alone and that's where I need your help. With your support and prayers, together we can begin to make a difference in the lives of others in Chile. Whether it be a whole community or even just one person, investing time and love into someone's life when they need it most is an invaluable opportunity.
