Story
Lewisham School of Muralism (LSOM) are taking on a brand new project to bring joy and light to the dark tunnel in Chinbrook Meadows but we need your help. The tunnel is huge and we need donations from the local community to help this project come to life.
We'd love as many people as possible to donate. If you donate you'll be helping fund the following
- £5 could help us cover 5 unloved bricks with paint
- £15 will help us buy equipment like paint brushes
- £25 will help us buy a tin of coloured paint to bring light to a dark surface
- £50 will help us buy a good quaility primer to ensure mural lasts for a long time.
Why should you help?
This mural will help create light in an otherwise dark tunnel, not only will the tunnel be more pleasent to pass through for everyone that uses the park, it will also help deter Graffiiti taggers, which have plagued the tunnel.
This will be a unique, lasting landmark for the park which you can help support.

3 years agoWow, thank you for your support everyone. The tunnel is looking great and we are getting so many comments while we are working on it saying what a good job we have done. We're now working on fine details such as putting some painted plants in the wall and making sure the environments in the arches look great. Pop down and say hello! We'll be there until friday!
