I've raised £10000 to fund Chinese Medicine Forestry Trust

The Chinese Medicine Forestry Trust promotes planetary, human and species health and wellbeing by planting trees and protecting forests throughout the world. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, counter pollution, give forth life-giving oxygen, prevent flooding and promote biodiversity by providing a home and food for thousands of species. Spending time amidst trees can enhance our physical and mental health. Reflecting the love of nature embodied within Chinese medicine, we invite practitioners, schools, businesses and patients to help protect this beautiful planet of ours.
The Chinese Medicine Forestry Trust has been set up by a group of Chinese medicine colleagues (Peter Deadman, Charlotte Whitestone, Effie Love and Jeremy Marshall) to respond to the climate emergency and the escalating rate of species extinction. In the face of these looming threats it is easy to look away or to despair. However, we have decided to act. We love trees and believe that sensitively planting and protecting as many as possible is the simplest and most direct way to absorb carbon from the atmosphere and build environmental resilience. Please join us by making a one-off or - even better - a regular donation.
