Story
As many of you know, this year I am running the London Marathon. I somehow managed to get in through the ballot (no one was more surprised than me) but I thought it would be a good idea to use this opportunity to raise money for a smaller charity.
I will be running for Pop-Up Gym, a charity based in the North East and run by my family friend Drew. The gym's philosophy is that everybody deserves the opportunity to exercise for their own physical and mental well-being, so they provide specialist gym equipment designed specifically for wheelchair users with all types of conditions.
The gym was established by Drew after he broke his neck in 2014 whilst living in America. But I will let Drew tell his own story, so do visit the website to find out more.
As you can see the gym provides opportunities for people, for whom resource and equipment is often limited.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
I know there are lots of fundraising pages, and plenty of people doing great fundraising activities, but I would be really grateful for any donations.
