Story

In the beginning of 2022 Christine Maughan was diagnosed with metastasised breast cancer which had spread to her lungs liver and brain. She fought so hard over the years having treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy in order to shrink the cancer in her brain, lungs and liver. Unfortunately the spine cancer was incurable. After such a long fight she only had cancer in her other areas which was amazing news. Until the end of 2024 when we were told the treatment she was receiving was no longer working and there was nothing more that could be done. On the 9th of February just the day after her daughter’s birthday Christine Maughan passed away at 22:10 surround by her husband and her 2 daughters Chloe and Emma. She was strong and fought so hard. We have posted this in order to get some help with funeral costs if possible. Due to Christine being a stay at home mother looking after all of her children she couldn’t work which had caused financial strain at this difficult time. We just want to give her the send off she absolutely deserves. We appreciate all donations small or big. Her funeral will be held on the 27th of February at 15:30 please come along as she would want all her friends and family to be there.❤️
