Story

On September 12th 2015.. Adam’s family got the phone call that every parent dreads. Adam, just 17, had been involved in a serious car accident. He was in a coma and had suffered a severe brain injury and they were given the devastating news that he only had a 50/50 chance of survival.
Adam thankfully came out of his coma and three years later he continues to amaze everyone with his determination to return to a normal life. It took months before he was able to talk again and even though his speech is not perfect, he is now able to hold a conversation with anyone.
He has been attending various forms of therapy most days of the week since he came out of hospital and has been doing this for seven days a week for over a year. His main aim is to walk again and the majority of his therapies are based around this end goal. Unfortunately, none of Adam’s therapies are covered by the NHS and therefore his family have to cover the cost.
