Story

I am raising money to buy and Electric Wheelchair. In the past 4ish years my mobility has become more and more limited due to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. I have lost alot of independence in that time and rely heavily on others to get around.

This chair will not only give me back my independence it will mean I can enjoy my life again. I wont have to worry if something is to far to travel that by the time i get to an activity I am already exhausted. I will be able to spend time with my Friends again without limiting the amount of time because I am fatigued or in to much pain to continue. I wont have to feel like a burden. I have used a Walker for over a year and this is great for the likes of going to a supermarket but anything more I am dependent on others. This chair will be you handing me back my freedom and my ability to enjoy not only my Holidays to their fullest extent but also my day to day life, an increaaed social life and even just going shopping alone again! Any help will go toward such a massive change in my life and I would be so thankful. I understand not everyone is in a position to donate and I would not want someone to help me at a detriment to themselves. If you cannot donate please share my story where you can to increase awareness. Also Happy Disabled Pride Month!!
