We are taking 11 students from Maltings Academy in Witham, Essex to Thailand for a World Challenge. The World Challenge organisation is the leading provider of life changing school expeditions and we are passionate about our students getting involved with such a brilliant programme.

Once in Thailand, we will be giving back to the local community by undertaking conservation projects that will enrich the lives of the local people. These projects range from renovating school facilities, building additional classroom and establishing a clean water supply.

In order to raise enough money for all 11 students to take part, we will be completing various fundraising events such as a sky dive, bake sales, discos for their fellow students and the 11 students who will be going to Thailand are going to cycle the distance from Witham to Thailand on spin bikes.
