In July 2017 I along with a group of others from my school will be travelling in Swaziland, Mozambique and South Africa on a trip to discover another countries culture and learn a bit more about what life is like for them. During this 4 week trip we will be completing treks through the beautiful lands and working closely alongside the community helping them with projects, one of which we will be helping a school and another we will be helping the marine life.
I am hoping that this trip can open my eyes to the reality of the world around me and give me a taste of what it is really like for other people in different countries and cultures to me as oppose to seeing it through a screen.
I am also interesting in travelling so this will help give me my first travelling experience.
This is a once in a life time opportunity that I am really excited about, however it is incredibly expensive. The cost of the trip has got to cover my insurance to ensure my safety, accommodation (although we will be mostly camping), and all my equipment.
