Story
In July 2016 Chloe & Matt Walker’s family grew as they welcomed their first baby in to the world. Baby Theo was perfect!
Fast forward to July 2017 and just days before Theo’s first birthday The Walker family’s life was turned upside down.
Chloe was told after a few months of feeling unwell that she had a brain tumour.
3 weeks later Chloe had major brain surgery to try to remove as much of the tumour as possible.
Unfortunately they couldn’t remove all of it so further treatment was necessary.
Chloe started her chemotherapy and every round got harder for her, but Chloe was determined to go back to work, to care for Theo & Matt and for them to live as normal a life as possible.
In April 2018 Chloe was informed the chemotherapy wasn’t working and would need a more invasive radiotherapy treatment.
With Chloe’s Doctors blessing The Walker’s took their first family holiday to Spain, which ended in tragedy.
Chloe was unwell whilst on holiday and went to the hospital. They were informed that Chloe had fluid on her brain and would immediately be admitted & then sedated.
On Wednesday 20 June 2018, less that a year after her diagnosis Chloe passed away leaving behind a heartbroken Matt and beautiful son Theo.
We are a small group of friends United by Chloe that are trying to help raise a little money to ease the Family’s worries and help Theo live as normal life as possible- just what Chloe wanted.
Any monies we raise over our target for Theo will be split 50/50 between Theo & The Brain Tumour Charity 2018 Registered Charity no. 1150054 (England and Wales)
Thank you for taking the time to read Chloe’s story
