I've raised £200 to Help raise funds for Bristol Law Centre

"People think they'll never need free legal advice, until then they do"
Funding for legal aid firms has now become sparse, with fewer people being able to access legal advice and representation when they need it the most. As a result of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act (LASPO) fundamental cuts to the legal aid sector have been made, making barriers to justice higher than ever. Those who are not fortunate to be represented by a solicitor/barrister are now deterred from making claims and often lack the skills and experience required to represent themselves at court.
Bristol Law Centre aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in Bristol and across the South West. They provide access to justice by offering free legal advice on matters such as immigration, discrimination and welfare benefits (to name a few) in addition to representing their clients at court. Additionally, they help over 3,000 people a year thanks to their fundraisers, sponsors, staff and volunteers.
I am taking part in the 7K Fun Run at Blenheim Palace on the 28th of April to raise money for the Bristol Law Centre to help them to continue to provide a legal service that is free and accessible to everybody! Any donation is welcome :)
Thank you!!
