💛 Help Us Build ‘Chemo Survival Kits’ for Children at The Royal Marsden 💛

Hi everyone,

This July, in honour of Sarcoma Awareness Month, we’re launching a special fundraising effort that’s very close to our hearts. We’re raising money to create ‘Chemo Survival Kits’ for children receiving treatment at The Royal Marsden Hospital — and we need your help to make it happen.

🌟 Why This Matters

This campaign is inspired by Chloë Drury, the beloved sister of our director. Chloë was just 18 when she passed away in 2013 after a courageous fight with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. Her strength, kindness and sense of fun left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew her.

To carry on her legacy of compassion, we’re creating kits filled with thoughtful, comforting items that can make a tough day a little bit easier for children undergoing chemotherapy.

🎁 What’s in a ‘Chemo Survival Kit’?

These kits are carefully designed with the needs of young cancer patients in mind. Each one includes a mix of practical and uplifting items, such as:

• Soft blankets or socks for warmth and comfort

• Puzzle books, colouring sets, or fidget toys to pass the time

• Gentle skincare or lip balm to soothe chemo side effects

• Healthy snacks or treats (approved by the hospital)

• Personalised messages of encouragement

• And more, depending on what we raise!

Every item is chosen to provide relief, joy, and the feeling that someone is thinking of them.

🗓 When and Where

We’ll be holding a cake sale on 25th July at our Cheam Village office, and shortly after that will use all proceeds to build the kits and will then deliver them directly to The Royal Marsden shortly after. Our team will be volunteering their time and energy — all we need now is your support to make these kits as full and meaningful as possible.

🙏 How You Can Help

We’re aiming to raise £1000, and every donation — big or small — helps us get closer to giving a child a reason to smile during treatment.

• £10 could buy cosy socks and a colouring book

• £25 could fund a full kit for one child

• £50 could help us create kits for two children

• Or donate any amount to help us reach more young people

If you can’t donate right now, please share this page with friends, family or colleagues — spreading the word means the world to us.

💛 In Memory of Chloe

This project is more than a fundraiser — it’s a way of keeping Chloë’s beautiful spirit alive and passing it on to others who need strength and hope. We know she would have been the first to help brighten someone else’s day.

Thank you for your support, your kindness, and your heart.

With love and gratitude,
