Story

My name is Chloe and I am 11 years old. I am currently in Year 6, my last year in primary school. I recently heard about the charity, The Little Princess Trust and have decided to cut my long hair and donate it to them so they can provide a wig to a young child in need - I am hoping to cut and donate around 20 inches!

I would also like to raise money for my primary school as a way to thank the teachers for their hard work during the current pandemic. They have worked so hard, for such a long time, to provide lessons for us, both in school and online, as well as ensuring all the students are happy and well supported.

Our school has a small fundraising group called The BFG. They hold regular events to raise money in order to provide the students with school discos, class outings, Easter activities and our leaver's prom, as well as developing the school facilities - which include adding outside seating areas, a school pond, forest area and play equipment!

Unfortunately, over the past year, they have not been able to hold any fundraisers, so I have decided to organise my sponsored hair cut and can hopefully raise a little money so that when we can be together again, we can still enjoy the fun events we have all missed.
