    Story

Hi, I’m Chloe, a 20 year old trying to save money to have my eggs frozen for future IVF treatment before I reach early menopause. To freeze my eggs for future IVF before I reach early menopause at 21 years old, alongside PCOS, Endometriosis and ovarian failure

I was diagnosed firstly with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome at 16 years old. I always had heavy periods as a child or some months they were non existent. Doctors told me in my teen years this was due to my age and a matter of it will get lighter over time.

2015/16 I was admitted to hospital with a pain in the right side of my abdomen where I stayed for 2 days. The doctors assessed me and told me I had cealiac disease, an intolerance to gluten. After numerous follow up appointments, it was ruled out that I did not have cealiac disease and the pain that I was having was unexplainable. After more GP appointments they then told me I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) which again was ruled out to not be the case.

The next week I had an appointment to have an ultrasound scan who told me I had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. A condition where fluid filled cysts grow on the ovaries due to a excessive amount of male hormones. I was put on METFORMIN, YASMINI, CLOMEFINE and LETROZOLE. After months of these types of medications not working for me I was then put on HRT injections. Having these different medications were increasing the amount of cycst that were growing on my ovaries to which my left ovary started to fail causing it to stop working all together. This was due to ovarian hyper stimulation and a blocked fallopian tube. My GP then told me I had a 30% of conceiving in the future.

2016/17 With still no periods, more tests were carried out to diagnose Endometriosis, which then ruled out that my right ovary started to grow larger than normal.

2018/19 - after not having a menstrual cycle for over 7 months and the pain being worse. Experiencing hot flushes at night alongside other symptoms, I was then premenopausal.

I am asking for people to donate to my page for me to have my eggs frozen for my 21st Birthday in March 2020 for up to 15 years. To then have IVF in the future. With my chances already so low because of PCOS and Endometriosis, if there are any more issues that I can not carry I will then donate my eggs to charity xx
