My friend Chloe Thomas is hands down the most hard working, dedicated, ambitious person I've ever met and her latest goal is to compete and represent Wales at Table Tennis at The Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018.

I've lost count of the number of countries she's been to playing in competitions representing both Wales and now Great Britain at World Championship and European Championship level. She's also been a part of the Women's University Championships and played women's premier Swedish League. Chloe doesn't do anything by halves so amongst all of this she's spent the last two years studying a BA(Hons) Nutrition degree and held down part time summer jobs to raise money to make her Commonwealth goal a reality as she's receiving no external funding.

Upon learning this I decided to set up a justgiving page to support Chloe on her impressive journey as there's little else I can do to help her once she's halfway around the world in China practising full-time table tennis (as well as the Mandarin she's somehow found time to learn in the last year).

After playing in the World University Championships in Taipei next month she'll be moving to China for 6 months to train full-time to give herself the best possible chance of reaching Australia. The cost of this is similar to a year's tuition fees at university so am I asking for the kindness and generosity of friends and family to help support Chloe on her mission to the Gold Coast.
