Story

Christmas is a really hard time for some families, and some children wake up on Christmas morning with absolutely nothing to open 💔

I’m a Youth Worker in South Ribble and Chorley and am running a present appeal for the second year after such a success last year. The effects of the pandemic, and just every day life, are still having an effect on families making Christmas the hardest time of the year.

I’ve decided to take it upon myself to ensure that every child (that I am aware of - please feel free to inform me if you know of anyone) in South Ribble and Chorley has something to open on Christmas morning 💚

Donations can be dropped off at:

💅🏼 Nails by Heather Jane @ No. 77 (77, PR25 1XB)

💇🏼‍♀️ Lesley Taylor Hair & Beauty (261, PR5 6LE)

☕️ The Coffee Shop at Heaton (59, BL1 5LW)

I am looking for donations of practically anything (Age 0-18):

-Boxes

-Toys

-Smellies

-Chocolates

-Socks

-Pamper sets

-Wrapping Paper

-Books

-Pyjamas

-Board Games

-Maybe you’ve got gifts laying around that have never been used/opened.

-Or a cash donation and I will purchase gifts in your behalf.

Final date for donations is Friday 17th December.

Next time you go shopping, pick up a £3 toy or a selection box. It really will make someone’s Christmas 🥰
