Finally the report! Firstly a BIG thank you to everyone who donated -I have done far better than I dared hope: your generosity is amazing. The run itself could not have been better. There were 6 of us running and we kept each other going despite the cold. We were lucky with the weather as the boggy bits were frozen and it only started snowing as we came off the last hill. Thanks to my fellow runners and our wonderful support team.

One day to go. ironically the weather today has been glorious unlike the forecast for tomorrow afternoon! Fingers crossed that my left knee holds up ok and that it isn't too icy on the tops. A big thank you to all of you for your generous donations - I am very grateful. My apologies for not thanking you all sooner but I have had a problem with the JustGiving page, which has only just been resolved. A full report with photos will appear here - but not tomorrow; I shall be having a birthday drink or too!
