I've raised £1500 to support a widow and her six children in Tanzania. They hope to open a shop to help pay for school fees and medical fees.

Recently our dear friend Magesa died suddenly. He was a faithful man and his wish was that his family would be able to carry on without him in a remote part of West Tanzania. His widow Rachel and her six children need to find a way to fund school fees and medical costs. We hope to enable them to set up a small business in order to generate some income.
They are exploring the idea of setting up a hardware shop which would actually help to bring supplies to an area of Tanzania in desperate need of tools and related supplies. This could have a longer term effect of enabling others around to raise their own standard of living so it may be positive on many fronts.
Opening a shop means that the older children will have the means to earn a living and the younger ones can grow up in a more secure environment. We appreciate your help. All money donated will be passed directly to this family.
