My good friend Toni had was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. In an incredibly brave and deeply personal decision, she has chosen to pursue a holistic path of healing and has been treating her cancer on her own for the past few months, guided by her own beliefs and values. Because she initially declined conventional treatment options such as surgery and chemotherapy, the NHS unfortunately discharged her from care, leaving her without vital support, scans, or follow-ups unless she consented to a full breast removal.

She has since been offered further support at the RVI in Newcastle, but for now, Toni has decided to continue her holistic journey for the next three months. After that, she plans to reassess and consider surgery as a last resort.

Toni’s choice hasn’t been easy, but she’s met it with incredible strength and dignity. She’s determined to heal on her own terms — but that comes with a significant financial burden. Holistic treatments, supplements, therapies, and ongoing care quickly add up.

To try help with the financial burden of this I’m planning on doing a walk from London back to catterick garrison, my home town and where Toni lives to help raise as much money as possible to help.

The walk is 230 miles long, which I’ll be looking to do in 7/8 days. I’ll be doing the walk in June and all donations will be very helpful.Thank you
