This July, I am aiming to walk 7 miles a day, for 7 days, at 70 years old, to raise vital funds for LCR FM, Lincoln's ONLY Local Community Radio Station.

LCR FM 103.6 is a SELF-FUNDED not-for-profit organisation and is THE local community radio station for Lincoln and surrounding areas, which can also be heard online via the website, mobiles, tablets, Tunein, and via smart speakers.

It costs approximately £1,800 EVERY month to run; pay the rent, licence fees, and day-to-day overhead costs, and relies totally on advertising and fundraising, with everyone from presenters to the backroom staff unpaid volunteers who gladly give up their time for free.

The aim is to raise £1,036 which is the radio frequency 103.6FM. Every donation makes a huge difference.
