Story

This may sound easy to some, but as a non-runner and taking this on straightaway it’s not going to be easy … but I am taking on the challenge of running a mile a day to eventually running 100 miles over the next 3 months:

31 Miles in May

30 Miles in June

39 Miles in July

Why am I doing this …

I want to challenge myself and raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society. Dementia is close to all our hearts and is the biggest health and social challenge of our time. There are currently estimated to be 900,000 people in the UK with dementia and has a heart-breaking effect on most families. The funds I make will be put towards vital support to those who need it most, hold decision-makers to account, and fund ground-breaking research to transform the future for everyone living with dementia.
