I'd like to introduce you to one of the rising stars of Welsh rugby Mali Edwards who has been awarded player of the year for 2 years running has been offered the opportunity to represent her school team by playing in Canada next year. In order to make this happen Mali will need some help with funding and we are hoping you will assist by making a sponsorship donation. Any contribution will be very gratefully received and in the very likely situation that the trip fee of £1500 is exceeded the excess will be passed on to the team as a whole......Chris Mutch..M & S Water Services
My name is Mali Fflur Edwards I'm 14 years old, I love to play and watch rugby. I have been interested in rugby now for many years. I played rugby touch in my junior school. I then started playing at Nant Conwy Llanrwst when I moved to Dyffryn Conwy school. I played for under 11, 12 and 13 where I really enjoyed the challenge of the game. It was a mixed boys/girls team and we were unbeaten in 2016 - 2017. I was chosen in this year out of the boys and girls as the player of the year and coaches player. When I was 12 I joined the girls team too where I played under 15's for Nant Conwy. I play for my school as captain, where my teacher asks me to choose the team to play. In June 2016 we were very lucky to visit Llanelli to represent our school and play 7 a side under 13's. We played against big South Wales teams and we won the cup and brought it back to the school. I am now playing for the school and Nant Conwy under 15's and enjoying every bit of it, where play No8 for both teams.
I am hoping to have the opportunity to go to Canada in October 2019 and play for the school team. The only thing is that the trip costs £1500 each. I am looking for sponsors to help me achieve this and I would be very grateful if you could consider taking part.
Gratefully,
Mali.
