The recent terror attack in Manchester has left many of us speechless and deeply saddened. Our strongest defence against these senseless and cowardly attacks is to reaffirm our unity in defiance of those who seek to divide and scare us. One ray of hope I read about this morning was the story of Chris Parker, a homeless man who had been waiting outside the venue to ask people for money as they left the event. Instead, when the bomb went off, Chris ran inside the venue to help those who were injured in the blast. These are the actions of a valuable member of society who deserves our support. Please join me in giving whatever you can spare to help Chris find shelter and get off the streets.
