I'm raising £1,000 for the North Wales Dragons Recreational Football Teams.

Football is so much more than a game.

There are so many Dragons initiatives that we undertake away from the pitch, these initiatives can only be achieved by participation on the pitch.

For the players at the North Wales Dragons Recreational Football Teams, it's a place to belong, to make friends, improve physical and mental wellbeing, and enjoy the game they love in a welcoming, pressure-free environment.

Our recreational teams are open to players of all abilities and backgrounds. Whether someone is returning to football after years away, looking to improve their fitness, managing a disability, or simply wanting to be part of a supportive team, everyone is welcomed with the same spirit of friendship, respect and encouragement.

Every training session and every match helps build confidence, create lasting friendships, and strengthen our local community. For many of our players, football provides an important social connection that extends far beyond the pitch.

As our club continues to grow, so do the costs. We are raising funds to help cover essential expenses including:

Training equipment and footballs

Pitch hire and facility costs

Team kits and bibs

Insurance fees

Equipment to make sessions safe, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone

Helping ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation

Our goal is simple: to make recreational football accessible to every adult who wants to play.
