After spending the last few years travelling so much of the world from a tourist point of view, the opportunity has arisen for me to give back to a community in need. Last year I visited Cape Town in South Africa as part of a short trip away with work. During our time there, we couldn't help but see and feel the disconnect throughout the local community. There are so many individuals, young and old, living in slums in that part of the world with an awful quality of life and it truly makes you feel humble about our quality of life here in the UK.

As part of the 10 year anniversary celebrations for RBW Consulting, we have decided to get involved in a massive charitable contribution this year. This will involved me traveling back to Africa, but this time to Swaziland, the smallest country in the southern hemisphere, where you can experience strong African culture and traditions and explore dramatic landscapes. As a community in need, we have decided to get involved with an education and building based project here, allowing us to give back to in a big way!

The project is fully supported by RBW Consulting who have funded the individual trip costs allowing me to be part of the project. This will include the accommodation within the volunteer house, 3 meals a day, site coordinator support, training and orientation on the site and travel. Additionally to this, I will be raising money for the additional costs for the project, and further supplies to take with me; school supplies and clothing for the disadvantaged children within the community. The more money that I can raise, the more supplies that I will be able to take along with me for this once in a lifetime trip.
